Flora-Faunal Surveys

Key Highlights

Biodiversity Research

Two flora-faunal biodiversity surveys in Dharwad district established ecological baselines and inspired grassroots conservation among local landowners.

Capacity Building & Law Enforcement

Intensive workshops trained 260 Police and Forest officers on India’s Animal Welfare and Protection laws, strengthening enforcement against wildlife and animal-cruelty offenses.

Education & Coexistence

Interactive sessions reached 392 students and teachers and 203 community members on human-animal conflict mitigation and environmental protection.

Advocacy & Collaboration

In partnership with the local Animal Welfare Board, released a statewide Animal Welfare & ABC Rules awareness poster, and assisted the Departments on preventing wildlife crime.

Direct Animal Welfare

Assisted emergency animal rescues and the rehabilitation and adoption of community dogs, promoting a culture of “Adopt, Don’t Shop.”

Aligned with Global Goals

Our work advances UN Sustainable Development Goals 3, 4, 15, 16 & 17, delivered in collaboration with local government and non government institutions.
